Menu for the week of 12/24/12
I’m finally taking a well deserved vacation. This is the most time off in a row I’ve had since maternity leave in 2008! Of course all the days are already filled with cooking, baking, and other fun! I’m hosting our Hanukkah/end of the year party on the 29th. I realize it’s a little late but it’s the only date I had time to make everything. Next year Hanukkah starts before Thanksgiving so I guess I’ll not be cooking for turkey day but having a big dinner that Saturday afterwards for Hanukkah.
Monday: Salmon with buerre blanch sauce, rice, veggie
Tuesday: Baking tons of cookies, grilled cheese, tomato soup
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Slow cooker drums in a white wine sauce, pecorino fries, veggie
Friday: beer battered fish, homemade fries, veggie
Saturday: deviled eggs, spinach dip, potato skins, cheese and sausage platter, shrimp cocktail, standing rib roast, salad, lattkes, cinnamon noodle kugel, veggie, challah, chocolate French silk pie, Amaretto mudslide cheesecake, dark chocolate espresso brownies
Sunday: Brown ale cheddar soup, bacon cheddar scones
